The Norwegian AH EVO 8B free flow ‘Bucket’ helmet
When visiting the Norwegian State diving school during an excursion organized with the ‘Northern Divers Meeting 2013’ in Bergen, Norway a complete unknown helmet was shown to us. It appeared a Norwegian ‘Bucket’ helmet built in 2005 by the Norwegian State Diving School, and modified in 2007. The helmet is registered as the ‘AH EVO 8B’. As you can see it is based on a galvanized bucket, according to The director of the Diving School, Johnny Jensen the helmet is surprisingly comfortable, the first test dive was made in 2007, a max depth of 5 meters was reached with it ...
